The Bible calls for Every-Member ministry.
Grace helps us to appreciate our gifts and talents, but also accept our God-given limits. That leads us to appreciate our need for others in the community (1 Corinthians 12). And it means that every member is necessary. Only when the entire community is appreciated and employed in serving will we grow into the body of Christ (Ephesians 4).

The Food of the Church
As we’ve seen the past few weeks, the church plays a vital role in the life of a true Christian. To be a genuine believer in Christ is to be a part of the body of Christ, the organism that has Christ as its head. We looked at the importance of having all the parts work together under the one Head. But what it is that makes the body of Christ grow? Individuals often look for an experience – something extraordinary to give them a sense of contact with God or confirmation that their faith is real. Churches often look for the latest fads and programs to connect them with people so that they will grow. While the zeal in both the individual and churches are admirable, their efforts are built on a faulty understanding of God’s provision for our growth. Our physical bodies need rest and food to grow. So does the body of Christ. We need regular rest in Christ (sabbath keeping) and regular food. What is the food of the Church? The food of the Church is the bread from heaven – the flesh and blood of Jesus. Listen as we explore a better understanding of God’s heavenly, ordinary, mysterious food for the Church.
