The Bible calls for Every-Member ministry.
Grace helps us to appreciate our gifts and talents, but also accept our God-given limits. That leads us to appreciate our need for others in the community (1 Corinthians 12). And it means that every member is necessary. Only when the entire community is appreciated and employed in serving will we grow into the body of Christ (Ephesians 4).

Daddy, Why is the World Blurry?
Ecclesiastes is unsettling to read. When many people hear Ecclesiastes they might immediately wonder if a a book written in the 10th century B.C. is at all practical to a 21st century person. Well, it couldn’t be more practical as the author, Solomon, takes an honest look at all of life and says out loud many of the questions, frustrations, and bewilderment ALL people have about life. His conclusion is that all is vapor, or all is blurry, meaning we cannot see everything clearly and all is outside of our control. We are control freaks and yet Solomon says controlling life is like “shepherding wind.” So what are we to do? Give up and throw our hands in the air? Solomon has something else in mind as he also assumes there is a Creator and we are merely creatures. Solomon walks us through life turning up every stone and finds that all is vapor, a shepherding of wind, yet we have a God who endures forever.
