The Bible calls for Every-Member ministry.
Grace helps us to appreciate our gifts and talents, but also accept our God-given limits. That leads us to appreciate our need for others in the community (1 Corinthians 12). And it means that every member is necessary. Only when the entire community is appreciated and employed in serving will we grow into the body of Christ (Ephesians 4).

Facing your Critics
How do you handle criticism? Wouldn’t it be great if we were all able to take an objective look at the criticism we face and grow wiser because of it? Sadly, we don’t operate that way. While we may be able to take some criticism, eventually someone will criticize something that cuts to the heart. It is this type of criticism that can become the very voice that leads to wisdom. How do you get into a position to hear and grow from your critics? Most people call us to put our mind to it and just do it. “Suck it up and be a man!” “Get over it!” But the reality is that this either causes us to harden our hearts so that the criticism doesn’t hurt so much (which doesn’t really help us learn from it), or we move from one idol to another.

I wanted to print the whole article, but, when I clicked on ‘print this article’, it only printed the little snippet. How do I get the whole article??
Thanks,
Susie
Hmm. I’ll have to try it out and see what happens before I can help.
