The Bible calls for Every-Member ministry.
Grace helps us to appreciate our gifts and talents, but also accept our God-given limits. That leads us to appreciate our need for others in the community (1 Corinthians 12). And it means that every member is necessary. Only when the entire community is appreciated and employed in serving will we grow into the body of Christ (Ephesians 4).

Naked
In 3rd grade I used to have dreams of getting to school nearly naked and running for cover into the coat closet. It was a horrible dream. Of course this fear of being laughed at, embarrased or exposed is real. We would rather hide than be naked. Job, on the other hand, shows us a faith that willingly leads him naked into the presence of God, the one whose character would most expose our own flaws. What does this faith look like? This tragic episode of Job’s life and his response show us. It shows us that faith shaped by the gospel allows us to be naked, as it were, and withstand suffering.
