Passing the Baton

Dr. Dan Burns directs us to consider the people to whom we are passing on the gospel. Dr. Burns has been serving as a church planter and pastor in Asia for the past 16 years. Having planted a church years ago and been instrumental in planting several more around Asia, he is now getting to watch them mature. Indigenous pastors are beginning to take over the leadership as the faithful men are trained and equipped to pass on the gospel to other faithful men who will be qualified to teach still others.
His experience provides us a prime example of how we are also called to invest the gospel into others who will then be equipped to invest in others still. It is a timely challenge.
