The Bible calls for Every-Member ministry.
Grace helps us to appreciate our gifts and talents, but also accept our God-given limits. That leads us to appreciate our need for others in the community (1 Corinthians 12). And it means that every member is necessary. Only when the entire community is appreciated and employed in serving will we grow into the body of Christ (Ephesians 4).

We have one more important topic related to the end times that we must talk about. It is perhaps the most important of all the topics. Taking a look at the tribulation of Matthew 24 and seeing it as the vindication of Jesus, and the rapture of 1 Thessalonians and seeing it as the celebration [...]

While he has some nephews and nieces, he didn’t yet have any kids of his own. (It always strikes me as interesting that people without children [...]

This summer, our children will experience the most breathtaking climb they’ll ever experience, with views they’ll never forget! In Upward Bound, they’ll follow Jesus’ rugged and radical journey to the mountaintops of God’s Kingdom to secure our salvation.
As Backpackers, our children will join an Expedition and rope together with others [...]

If you are not inclined to attend such a service, [...]
Read more →The expectations of New Testament Christians was that the day if the Lord would come within their lifetime, so much so that people in the Thessalonian Church were afraid that their loved ones who had already died would miss it altogether. This fear is what prompts Paul to write more explicitly about the Lord’s return. [...]
Read more →We’ve spent time talking about the events unfolding in Jesus’ Olivet discourse that have already taken place. What’s still in the future? We’ll look at that in the next two weeks. There will be a time for follow-up Q&A after the worship service for the next two Sundays (May 24th and 31st) in the fellowship hall. [...]
Read more →If you don’t get the details of the end times right, it’s not going to keep you out of heaven. Nonetheless, it will impact the way you live today. One of the ways it impacts you is with respect to your view of Christ. People in America today tend to view Jesus in a variety [...]

Cathy Nesbit is coordinating snacks to feed the volunteers. She is looking for baked goods, ice, bottled water, sodas, chips, dips, fruit, veggies and paper goods. Please find Cathy this Sunday to sign up [...]
Read more →Over the past few months and weeks particularly, I have been reading from various views of the end times and I can say this. It is a humbling task. There seem to be good and persuasive arguments for contradictory perspectives. What are we to make of it all? In the next several weeks I’m going [...]
Read more →Through the Apostle John, God tells us how to live the life of faith and how to know without a doubt that we are living that life. It’s pretty simple, really. Love one another. Jesus put it that simply in John 15:17: “This is my command, love one another.” He prefaced that in John 14:15 [...]
