The Bible calls for Every-Member ministry.
Grace helps us to appreciate our gifts and talents, but also accept our God-given limits. That leads us to appreciate our need for others in the community (1 Corinthians 12). And it means that every member is necessary. Only when the entire community is appreciated and employed in serving will we grow into the body of Christ (Ephesians 4).

Continuing in our sermon series on worship, this week we are looking at the elements of our worship service that allow us to hear and tell our story. We are looking at how we re-hear and retell God’s story through the Call To Worship, our prayers, the preaching of the Word, our community life, all the way to the benediction and dismissal. His story is our story and by hearing and telling his great drama we are participating in the story. This story is the story that shapes who we are as human beings and who we are as Christians as God is buying back his good world and we are a part of that redemption. The static that results from the fall is often so thick that we forget this story of good news so it is imperative that we participate in this story weekly. God’s drama culminates in the incarnation of Jesus, and his life, death and resurrection all point to a new creation that is coming. A restoration of God’s good creation that has been marred by the fall. Do you hear and tell his story? Is this your story line?
We apologize but the very beginning of the recording was so the audio picks up in the middle of the Scripture reading. Also, attached below is the file for the over head. If you have powerpoint, you may click here to view what everyone was able to see on Sunday.
