The Bible calls for Every-Member ministry.
Grace helps us to appreciate our gifts and talents, but also accept our God-given limits. That leads us to appreciate our need for others in the community (1 Corinthians 12). And it means that every member is necessary. Only when the entire community is appreciated and employed in serving will we grow into the body of Christ (Ephesians 4).

Bringing this ancient text to us, Allen White reminds us that living [...]

Not only political/international conflict, there is conflict in our schools and homes. If not in our immediate homes, then certainly with those ever pesky relatives. We have anxiety [...]

Race up the rock wall, test your skill at riflery and archery, soar down the zip line. Most of all, spend time together strengthening your relationship [...]

Music has the same kind of power as taste. Music captures our senses. Singing a familiar song helps us to remember..to remember is not just [...]

We are looking at how we re-hear and retell God’s story through the Call To Worship, our prayers, the preaching of the Word, our community life, all [...]
Read more →This week we began a three week sermon series on worship titled, “Participating In The Story.” Human beings are captivated by story. Story has the power to define whole societies. Story can define individuals. Some of our own stories bring us great joy and we are quick to share them with others, and yet [...]

No need to bring anything but a bathing suit and a towel, if you’d like to swim. We’ll get together rain or shine…if it’s too wet, we’ll go inside and enjoy each other’s company!
Location: Liz [...]

Read more →After experiencing the brokenness of our world, human beings put systems in place hoping for some sense of rest. Like children who are victims of abuse, or perhaps children of alcoholics or drug addicts. Exhausted by the continual chaos, the child becomes a perfectionist. Striving for rest she is exhausted by her [...]
