Learning to Follow Jesus

Learning to follow Jesus is another way of saying “discipleship.” A “disciple” of Jesus is someone who understands the world as Jesus does, and seeks to live as Jesus lived.

The Bible is our source of learning what it means to follow Jesus. Through the study of Scripture we learn about God and His nature. We learn how he has demonstrated time and time again on the pages of history the greatness and the wonders of his love for His people. We learn how we are to live in response to this love as it comes to us most poignantly through the person and work of Jesus. We must grow in the grace of God.
