The Bible calls for Every-Member ministry.
Grace helps us to appreciate our gifts and talents, but also accept our God-given limits. That leads us to appreciate our need for others in the community (1 Corinthians 12). And it means that every member is necessary. Only when the entire community is appreciated and employed in serving will we grow into the body of Christ (Ephesians 4).

There are many opportunities to serve our covenantal kids here at Cornerstone. If you are interested in volunteering please prayerfully consider our Children’s Ministry.
- Teaching and assisting in Sunday school (Gospel U) September through May
- Teaching, assisting, mentoring, or working at Cornerstone School of Covenant and Kingdom (CSCK) September through May
- Teaching, assisting, planning or working at VBS in June
- Assisting in the Infant Room or Toddler Room on Sunday mornings during worship once or twice a quarter
- Teaching or assisting with Worship Training on Sunday mornings / Teachers lead for 1 month assistants rotate every week
Volunteers must be at least 14 years of age and need to complete the Child Abuse Prevention training and paperwork. Adults must also pass a background check. Once a year we offer an Orientation for new volunteers. However, volunteers need not wait until the Orientation to complete their training and begin volunteering. Ask the Children’s Director for a packet of information which includes a DVD of an Orientation and the following paperwork:
