Local Ministry Partners

As Christians, we love because God first loved us. We extend grace to our community because God extended grace to us in Christ. When we begin to realize we need God’s grace constantly and desperately, we will begin to see ourselves mirrored in the physically and emotionally needy. Acts of love and mercy will flow naturally out of and testify to a heart changed by Christ’s love.

There are so many wonderful organizations already in Katy, we are constantly amazed, and hope to be constantly learning from them. We encourage you to explore and get to know whatever ministries are in your neighborhood, and within you particular areas of interest. The below organizations are ones with which Cornerstone has developed a relationship, which we have made a special commitment to support and learn from.

Katy Christian Ministries

kcmKCM allows the local Katy churches to have a reach much greater than they could on their own as it provides social services, a food pantry, help for domestic and sexual abuse, and a resale shop. Cornerstone relies on KCM to help many of the people that walk through our door looking for physical help. You can get involved with KCM directly or through our deaconal ministries. For more information about KCM, you can visit their website, www.ktcm.org.

Pregnancy Help Center

phcThe pregnancy help center provides help for women who find themselves with unplanned pregnancies and aren’t sure what to do or if there is help available. The center can meet counseling needs (for both women and men), free pregnancy testing, education on fetal development, abortion risks and procedures, adoption information and referrels, maternity clothing, baby furniture, infant care guidance, as well as post-abortion counseling/support. For more information about volunteering, visit www.phckaty.org.
